The Jeep brand has been on the top of its game since it basically invented the game over 70 years ago. From the first 1941 Willys MB Jeep to the upcoming 2015 Jeep Renegade, the automaker has created a solid lineup of off-roading vehicles that has made the Jeep brand synonymous with the all-terrain 4x4.

For Throwback Thursday, we at Ramey Chrysler Dodge Jeep thought we'd revisit the iconic Jeep CJ-5 which was phased out in the early '80s. This 1981 commercial remind us just how well summer and Jeep vehicles go together -- conquering the roads less traveled, zipping off to the beach and even chauffeuring you to a ritzy hotel after your fun in the sun.

The current Jeep Wrangler replaced the Willys CJ variants, and it still reigns as one of the most capable, all-American off-roaders on the market. Ready to put it to the test? Take one out for a spin on or off Princeton, WV roads.
